I recently moved back to Texas after spending some time on the turquoise waters of Abu Dhabi's Arabian Gulf. I have an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University with an emphasis on Creative Nonfiction. I'm currently working on a generational memoir about motherhood, home, and the space where these things converge. I'm fueled mostly by the desire to read, tell, teach, and listen to stories that embrace the extraordinary beauty found in ordinary life.
